New Orleans, the playground to the freaks. They come here wearing their masks and dancing to the music while laughing and having fun. Carefree and without worries...man it's good being a human!
But who says you have to be human to have fun?
Vampires, shifters, and witches have been living among us for years, yet we never knew it. They wear the masks as well as we do and dance just as much we can. So it is no wonder that we never knew the truth.
But there is something building that wants us to know, something drawing us into the darkness and finding light. A principle as old as time is taking effect and this time humans are no exception.
Could we welcome something so dark into our own hearts or be consumed by the shadows? Either way, we don't have a choice.
Especially not when the FREAKS COME OUT.
