Name: Narcissa. Breed: Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Age: Three. Gender: Female Pelt Color: Red. Eye Color: Light brown. Markings: Narcissa has a white chest and belly. Her front legs are white and she has a white muzzle, a white stripe goes between her eyes down to her nose. Personality: Narcissa is shy around males and humans. She doesn't know what happened to the humans. After she ran away it seemed like everywhere she went the humans seemed to fall and die. She didn't complain, she was actually sort of glad. Wouldn't you be if you had been through what she had on account of a human? Narcissa is quite skinny, due to her lack of food, and she has only just healed up completely from her last birth. Her long thick pelt covers up just how skinny she is, but if you were to feel through the fur you would feel her ribs sticking out or her tail bone or her spine. She isn't skinny enough to be near death, but she is far skinnier than she should be. She doesn't like to talk much, and she fears growing close to anybody because she fears they might leave her like her parents did. But if somebody takes the time to get to know her and show her they mean no harm then she would be very loving and loyal toward them. She hopes to have another litter one day, but after she finds love and a mate. But she is also scared to try again, she fears something bad might happen to her pups. History: Narcissa was born in a small litter to a pair of strays. Her parents had both been pets once in the same home, but there was a house fire when her mother was pregnant and the two were forced to flee. None of the humans in the house survived the fire. Narcissa's mother was young and still a puppy at heart. She hadn't wanted a litter to begin with, so a month later when the litter was born she abandoned them before they were even a month old. In fact, her eyes had just opened when she was abandoned. The distant images of her parents leaving still haunts her. But her and her two siblings weren't left alone for more than a day before a human found them. He took them home with him and she thought she was saved, but she was wrong. He nursed the three little puppies back to health, bottle feeding them every two hours until they were a little older. As soon as they were eating solids, however, they were thrown in a kennel in a barn on the mans land. It was cramped and it smelled terrible. As soon as she was old enough to breed she was thrown in small room where a male waited. He was big and much stronger than her, he had been trained to do one thing: breed any female that was tossed in the room, whether she was in heat or not. So she stayed in the small room wit this male for days, having to endure countless breedings. She was only seven months old. But the human came and took her out at last. And after a few months she had a small litter of two, two beautiful boys. But before they were even fully weaned they were taken from her and sold to a pet store. She was forced to bear litter after litter, as soon as she was able to breed again after giving birth she was bred until the human was satisfied that she was pregnant. Then she would give birth to a litter and they would be taken from her before they had been fully weaned. This went on for years. When she was three the human came and took her out of her kennel to breed her for what seemed like the hundredth time. But as he opened the kennel door he fell to his knee's, holding his head as if he were in pain. And then he fell and all was quiet. She stayed in the kennel for a few minutes, just looking at him in shock. But she eventually jumped from the kennel and ran. Its only been a few weeks since she escaped, and she somehow ended up here...lost, confused, and alone.
