Life isn't full of petals, it always has thorns. For some, the thorns are taking over, taking away what little of their rose petals they have left. And it is because they are teased, picked on, chased away from humanity. There are many categories when it comes to the teenagers in the small town of Tempest, Utah, and some are shattering the worlds of the others.
These are the first class people such as the preps, jocks, and anyone who calls themselves popular. They think of themselves as the top dog, runner of the school. And they pretty much are. They can do what they like to anyone, and act innocent enough to get away with it. These are the cruel people who stomp all over the other groups, shatter the world of some, and torture those who refuse to crumble under their gaze.
The couples. They don't usually bother anyone, and usually keep to themselves and their groups of friends. But for those that don't have anyone to love, they are cruel people. Innocent as they are, they are one of the most hated by preps and jocks that can't seem to find a boyfriend or girlfriend. Other groups usually don't mind much, what is love, is love, right?
These are the most normal people of the school. Everyone has at least one best friend right? Yeah these are the people that the outcasts are jealous of. They are usually the loudest people in the halls, laughing and such. They don't both anyone, but do tease the lower people sometimes, only if they want to impress the jocks or preps. But other then that, they leave everyone alone.
Everyone goes through this once in their life at least. Usually these are people that have been in a relationship for a while, and it ended suddenly. They usually don't talk to anyone for a while, but have a lot of people to comfort them. They all snap out of it after a while, but their hearts will always be scarred.
Last but never least. These people are the ones that are the most picked on. In this category is usually teen mothers, druggies, freaks, and the common people that did something unthinkable to a jock or prep, and where banished to the bottom. These people are usually the ones with the shatter lives. Some of them slowly commit suicide from the on going picking on. They are the most tortured of all.
