Broadview Stables, the most prestigious riding academy in the United States. The stables are located somewhere in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, but only the owner, Abby, knows for sure. The stables are flooded with hundreds applications for entrance each year. Out of the hundreds of applicants, only a ‘special’ few are chosen. These ‘special’ few aren’t horsemen or women. In fact, most of them know nothing of horses.

The people that get in aren’t the type of people you would think that would go to a riding academy. They are scarred. All of them have some kind of a record. There are the druggies, the abused, and the down right messed up. All of the students are here for one reason, to fix their lives before it’s too late. Many came here on court order, others because they want their families off their backs, and very few come because they want to get out of the giant hell hole that is now their life.
