After surviving the attempt on his life as a child, and all throughout his school years, at the age of twenty-one Harry Potter was finally defeated by Lord Voldemort. The Wizarding World went into chaos when it was announced that the Boy Who Lived's body was found by his wife Ginny Potter upon returning from the Ministry, where she then worked, one afternoon. From there everything quickly changed.
The Dark Lord took advantage of the confusion and chaos. Within weeks he and his Death Eaters had eradicated the Aurors and other Ministry Officials that would get in his way. Rufus Scrimgeour disappeared and was presumed dead until he turned up months later in France, running from the Death Eater's. In January of 2002, Lord Voldemort was named Minister of Magic.
Over the next year he demolished the Ministry and created in its stead a monarchy. A dark monarchy with himself as the Dark Lord and the pure-bloods nobles, as the ought to be. Mudbloods and Muggles are now slaves to the pure-blood population. The Order is scattered across the world, at least those who managed to escape the Death Eaters.
Thirteen years have passed and the world has faded into silence, for fear of their Dark Lord. But in the shadows the Order is slowly coming back together. But with the armies the new Monarchy has gathered will their small yet determined force be enough? Can the wizarding world break free from this our solemn hour?
